Daniel Ray was identified on April 8, 2012, Easter Sunday, at Manta Heaven by Martina Wing. His approximate 4 foot wing span and small claspers indicate that he is very young.
He tends to stay on the outside of the circle and seems shy. In 2012 we saw him 6 times after he was identified. He is named for Daniel Davis, younger brother of manta enthusiast and scuba instructor, Jonathan Davis.
