Guillermo Ray

Guillermo was identified on November 10, 2007 during a day dive at Pebble Beach.

Although he didn’t mind the divers and bubbles during this daytime encounter, we rarely see him at the night time feeding areas. His right cephalic fin has been damaged but we are not sure what caused the injury. Guillermo was seen once in 2012 at Manta Heaven and it is always uplifting to see the irregular visitors.

DESCRIPTION OF MARKINGS
Guillermo has a thick and dark “W” pattern on his belly. He also has a deformed right cephalic fin.
