Ho Ray was first identified on October 31, 2007 at Manta Heaven by Martina Wing. He was about 5 feet across. Today his wingspan is between 6-8 feet.
He has become very accustomed to scuba divers and snorkelers and is a regular player at the Manta Heaven dive site.
Ho Ray is named after our dear friend Capt. Mike Ho, a veteran captain of the Kona Coast.
