Ke’kai’malu Ray

Ke’kai’malu was identified on October 15, 2011 at Manta Heaven by Martina Wing.

His name was inspired by Andrew Osoro and the Hawaiian meaning is “Peaceful Ocean”, which is a beautiful reference to this magnificent angle-like creature. He was shy at first and stayed on the outskirts, then soon he made his way to the “high traffic area” (with 9 other mantas) and checked on the food close to the bubbles and lights.

DESCRIPTION OF MARKINGS
Ke’Kai’Malu has a Halloween ghost on his underside.
