Lee Ray

Lee Ray was identified on August 6, 2013 at Manta Village by James Wing. She was approximately 4 feet wide and her namesake is Patricia Lee Wing, James’s mom.

Lee Ray is a regular star at Manta Village. We see her very frequently but she sometimes takes an occasional trip to Manta Heaven.

In 2013 (same year of her ID) Lee Ray was seen 42x and hasn’t slowed down since. She used to be one of the smaller manta rays, however that hasn’t stopped her from being in the middle of the “feeding action” with close-ups to snorkelers and divers. She is one bold manta!
