Lisa Rae was identified on October 2, 2008 at Manta Village by Ryan Leinbach. She was approx. 5 feet across.
The first time we met Lisa Rae she was swimming in the shallows close to the Sheraton hotel and did not approach the dive site in deeper water. She was fairly skittish but became more comfortable as the plankton got stronger. Over time she is now much bolder and moves close to the divers.
Lisa Rae is named after the owner of Honu Sports, Lisa Rae Christensen.
