Salem Ray was identified on August 5, 2005 at Manta Village by Ryan Leinbach. She was a tiny pup with a wingspan of 2-3 feet.
Salem spent many of her early days at Manta Village. Soon she expanded her home range to both sites. As a pup, she loved divers and snorkelers, but today she stays in mid-water or with the divers when coming to Manta Heaven.
