Zach-a-Ray was identified on November 1, 2004 at Manta Heaven. He was a young male and approximately 6 feet wide wing tip to wing tip.
He is seen irregularly at Manta Heaven and never been spotted at Manta Village. Like most young mantas, Zach-a-Ray was shy at first but soon learned that lights mean food.
Zach-a-Ray’s namesake is Zack Macias, son of Captain Danny Scott.
