Black Diamond Ray

Black Diamond is a beautiful male pup that manta ray advocate Kerstin Windberg saw for the first time on June 26, 2019 at Kauna’oa Bay. He was a pup with 3 feet but grew to already 4-5 feet.

He was very shy and not easy to approach so we were lucky to get a picture of his markings. He is gorgeous.

DESCRIPTION OF MARKINGS
Black Diamond has a much darker dorsal side than the other mantas we know plus 6x “diamond” shaped spots in his ID marking.
