Hayden Ray

Hayden was first identified at Manta Village in Keauhou on June 20, 2008 by Ryan Leinbach with a wingspan of about 4-5 feet across. Today we estimate his size between 6-8 feet.

Like most young manta rays Hayden Ray was shy at first, but within a few months he warmed up to divers, snorkelers and the lights. He frequents Manta Village as well as Manta Heaven.

His namesake is Hayden Marley, son of Spencer Marley.
