Maximus Ray

Maximus Ray was identified on July 23, 2000 at Manta Heaven. He is about 8-10 feet wide.

Maximus has been seen at Manta Heaven a handful of times only and seemed to show up on nights with large numbers of mantas and abundant plankton. He stayed in the shadows of the illuminated dive site as he is shy and didn’t feel comfortable around bubbles and divers.
