Jana Ray was first identified August 8, 2011 at Manta Village by Dane Knezek. She was a young pup with a 3 foot wingspan.
She quickly learned lights equal food. She isn’t as graceful as the larger mantas but she has never been afraid of “close ups” with the snorkelers and divers. She is now a regular at Manta Village, coming almost every night to feed.
