FinsUp has a central heart with a plumeria on the right.

How was FinsUp Named?

Ryan Leinback identified FinsUp on August 1st, 2014, at Garden Eel Cove. She then gifted the naming rights to fellow diver Joi Petrik, who chose the name “FinsUp” in honor of the expression often used by divers. While snorkeling with manta rays, snorkelers are often reminded to have their fins up to ensure they are not kicking the mantas as they may come within inches of you. The name is a reminder to protect these magnificent creatures every day.
